The first racing course organised by Ostria sailing Academy was held in Larnaca Bay during the months June – July 2009 with the participation of six persons. Emphasis was placed on practical training on yachts. The main areas of the course covers sail theory and trimming, racing rules, race tactics. Spinnaker, assimetric, race training. All the six persons have already joined Yacht racing teams in Larnaca and three of them have participated to the Aegean Regatta 2009.
