Course Objectives
The racing course is designed for people that have the basic knowledge in sailing and like to improve their sailing and racing techniques. The course covers the areas in sailing theory, sail trimming, racing rules, race tactics, spinnaker, asymmetric etc.
By the end of the course you will have the opportunity to take part in a race organised for training purposes.

Course Content

Theory: 
Lecture 1    Handling of sails, trimming, Spinnaker, Asymmetric
Lecture 2    Race management, notice of racing, flags, starting procedure, finishing     
                   procedure, racing rules
Lecture 3   Racing rules in practice, Race tactics

Practical:
Practical 1    Handling of sails, trimming, Spinnaker, Asymmetric
Practical 2    Handling of sails, trimming, Spinnaker, Asymmetric               
Practical 3   Participation in a race.

Theory: 2000-2200
Practical training. Saturday / Sunday: 0900 - 1400
Maximum Students per instructor:  8
